Terms of Service

1. Agreement to these Terms

By creating an account or using Path in View, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Who may use Path in View

Path in View is currently offered only to people who are at least 18 years old and located in the United States. You must provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.

3. What the service does

Path in View helps users record, organize, review, export, and voluntarily share health and wellness information. Features may change as the service develops. We may suspend a feature when reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, or legal compliance.

5. Your information

You retain your rights in information you enter into Path in View. You give us a limited permission to host, process, reproduce, and display that information only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service, follow your sharing choices, and comply with law. This permission ends when the information is deleted, except where limited retention is reasonably required for security, legal obligations, or backup rotation.

6. Sharing with care providers

A user may choose to connect with a care provider. Accepting a connection authorizes that provider to view the information made available through the connection. A connection is not proof of a clinical relationship, and Path in View does not verify professional qualifications unless we expressly say otherwise.

Users can revoke a provider's access from the Connections page. Revocation stops future access through Path in View but cannot retract information the provider previously viewed or lawfully retained.

7. Acceptable use

You may not:

• access another person's account or data without authorization;
• interfere with the security or operation of the service;
• upload malicious code or use automated access that burdens the service;
• use Path in View for unlawful, deceptive, or harmful activity;
• represent that Path in View provides a diagnosis or guarantees a health outcome.

8. Service availability

We work to keep Path in View available and accurate, but the service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free calculations, or that user-entered information is complete or medically accurate.

9. Suspension and account closure

You may permanently delete your account from your Profile. To protect against unauthorized deletion, we send a one-hour confirmation link to the email address associated with the account and require a final confirmation on a separate page. You should export any information you want to keep before confirming. Account deletion cannot be undone.

Deletion removes your profile, sign-in methods, active sessions, health records, trackers, medications, settings, invitations, and care connections from active systems. It also ends access through those connections. Limited residual copies may remain temporarily in protected backups as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate misuse, comply with law, or prevent security harm. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to export your information.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide notice and request renewed agreement when required. The effective date above identifies the current version.
